linus kirwa
He bought himself love,
sat and smiled and laughed,
You could hear his cackle as you passed by.
The love bought?
So heavy for his heart,
a weight drowning him in his own misery,
But tell me,
How much does love cost?
He loved her in ways that people rarely do,
A day of spa for a spear.
jealousy wrapped in a smile,
yet to unravel.
He bought love,
wearing a sheep's coat,
and beneath those hooves,
deadly claws ready to claw and break.
They said,
He loved her in ways that
sea drowns the fish,
A bought love is never such a good idea.
He held love for a day,
And felt its loss the next day.
He was not a fan of trust.
He never wanted to play such a game,
and the love he bought
disappeared like dew in the morning sun shine.
There, but slowly fading.
